Last-minute Christmas gifts for the home

I thought I'd share some of the home-ware deals I found while doing my Christmas shopping because I'm such a sucker for home-ware, especially useless ornaments. I can't imagine what the shops are going to be like this weekend, but any UK shoppers desperate enough to venture out  to find last minute Christmas gifts might find this helpful. It's time to face the fact that the online shopping boat has sailed and it's down to what's left on the shelves now. Prices are at an all-time high just before Christmas, so it's nice to see affordable options around:

Heal's sale:

I'll have to do a separate post about my highly successful Heal's sale haul from the Goodge Street branch, but here is just a selection of sale items which are also available online; there was way more in-store:

H&M home:

I ventured into a branch of H&M that had a home section and I was really pleasantly surprised! My favourite affordable home stores are probably Ikea and Tiger, so H&M has never really been on the radar. But their kids section in particular was amazing. I haven't actually picked any of these with kids in mind, I think they could make great gifts for adults who are anything like me (except maybe the bathmat, that's not actually a great gift but I wanted to include it 'cos I aint ever seen such a fancy one).

Habitat sale:

Habitat have lots of cool products that become affordable during the sales, and they're a lot closer than Ikea!

The Lexon Thyko radio is waterproof so it would be perfect for listening to BBC4 in the kitchen while washing the dishes.

I've learnt a blogging lesson here: don't count on the things you liked in-store being available online for pictures. If you can head down to these stores, lots more goodies await you I promise.
